An excellent result for the Polish team at the 2026 Rally Sweden

The 2026 Rally Sweden went down in history as one of the most demanding and technical events on the WRC calendar. This year’s event featured 18 special stages and over 300 kilometres of racing on snow and ice, where precision, courage and the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions were of the utmost importance.

Polish team triumphs in the WRC Masters

The competitors faced reversed route configurations, new sections and an extended stretch of Bygdsiljum – the longest and one of the most demanding stages of the rally. Every second counted in the battle for the final result.
Among the 59 crews at the start, there was no shortage of Polish representatives. Michał Sołowow and Maciej Baran, competing in a Toyota GR Yaris in the colours of Barlinek, demonstrated excellent pace and consistency.
The Polish crew finished the rally with an impressive result – victory in the WRC Masters category and 6th place in the WRC2 standings. This is further proof of their experience, determination and excellent preparation for competition at the highest level.
Their success in Sweden confirms that Michał Sołowow and Maciej Baran are among the best in their category, and their performance provided fans with plenty of excitement and reasons to be proud.
